We are happy to send up to 6 small swatches of our medium weight home decorating fabrics free of charge to Australian customers. This applies to all medium weight fabrics except remnants and those that are precut and sold by the piece. Our light weight fashion and novelty fabrics come and go very quickly so we are not able to send swatches of these.

We sell fabric by the whole or part metre in .25 metre increments. Simply type .25, .5, .75, 1, 1.25 etc in the ‘Quantity’ field. The exception to this is if we have specified that it is sold by the piece.
The minimum quantity you can purchase of an individual fabric is .25 metre.
We have an overall order minimum of AUD$10.00.
Ordering .25 metre (Fat Quarters)
If you order .25 metre, it will be cut as a fat quarter (ie a square piece 50cm x half the width of the fabric). The exception to this is if the fabric width is less than 1m wide (eg some of the hand printed Australian designs). Note: If this does not suit your project and you would prefer .25m cut straight from the bolt, simply request this in the 'Comments' field on the Checkout page.
The price listed for most fabrics is for one metre (except those where it is specified as being sold by the piece). The cost is calculated based on the quantity you type (eg .5, 1, 1.5) and displayed in your shopping cart.
We have classified the fabric as either light weight or medium weight. The light weight fabric is standard quilting weight, while the medium weight is curtain weight or medium weight canvas.
Fabrics range from 70cm to 152cm wide. The width is noted in the fabric description. Remember to consider this when selecting fabric, as our most expensive fabrics are generally the widest.
The fabrics displayed on our site have been scanned or photographed. We do not alter the colours in any way, however, they may display slightly differently from one computer screen to another.
We accept the following methods of payment:
- Visa/Mastercard using Australian payment processor, eWAY
- Paypal (You can also use Paypal to pay by Visa/Mastercard. You don't need a Paypal account)
- Bank deposit

We will post your order as soon as your payment has cleared.

Ensuring that our customers are totally satisfied is extremely important to us. If you are in any way dissatisfied with the products you have received, we will happily organise a refund, exchange or store credit for you, as long as the products are returned to us in a saleable
The exceptions to this are:
- sewing patterns
- goods on sale.
All returned products must be:
- unused, unopened and in original condition
- clean and undamaged
- returned within 14 days of delivery
- in a saleable condition upon return.
You are responsible for the postage cost of returning the goods. Please ensure the goods are adequately packaged to ensure that they are not damaged during return transit.
How to return
If you want to return a product to us for refund or exchange, contact us via email (firstname.lastname@example.org) or phone (03 8503 7615) and outline why you are returning the product and whether you would like to exchange, a refund or a store credit. Then post the item to the following address:

- credit your credit card, or
- provide a credit code which can be used with any future purchase and is valid for 12 months.
The amount refunded will depend on the reason for the return. If you have received a:
- damaged product or the wrong product, we will refund both the product and postage fee (if applicable)
- product that you no longer wish to purchase, only the product cost will be refunded.
