Magnolia Square

Brooke from Magnolia Square has just written a lovely post on the Magnolia Square Snippets blog about Duckcloth. Thanks Brooke!

I’m a big fan of the beautiful Magnolia Square pop-up market (if you live in Melbourne you’re probably already aware of it) and I try to attend most of the events. The next one is in late November.
The Magnolia Square team also writes a gorgeous blog, Magnolia Square Snippets which focuses on many of the retailers who attend the market, but also showcases other retailers and talented designers (mainly from Australia).
Here are some of my favourite Magnolia Square retailers:
Fat Bird Farm – beautiful screen printed birds on natural linen mixed with vintage fabrics.

Memi Designs – more geogeous textiles.

GforGeorge – colourful magnetic boards with fresh fabric-covered magnets.

Est – These guys were doing beautiful soaps and all things natural long before it became the trend of the moment. Their products are amazing!

Chook Leaf – amazing leather shoes for kids (and only slightly more expensive than the garden variety Clarks). These are so good that I’ve seen adults with tiny feet try them on!

So if you’ve never been to Magnolia Square, I highly recommend getting along to the next one which is on at the end of November.
